- Exterior - It is an impressive, traditional large-fronted building.

- Lobby - The medium sized lobby has persian carpets scattered over marble tiles. The reception is on the left as you enter and on the right is the bar. Throughout the hotel one finds valuable antiques, particularly antique rugs.
- Location - The schwarzer bock hotel is located in the very city centre; the shopping precinct is just across the road and it is only a short stroll to the famous Boulevard "wilhelmstrasse".
- Restaurant - The gourmet restaurant "schwarzer bock" offers regional and classical cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. The "bock-schaenke" is less formal and one can dine in unique surroundings provided by beautifully panelled walls and ceiling. Various parts are decorated with medieval and Renaissance figures and ornaments which date back about 500 years. The very elegant "cafe-bistro" serves light cuisine and cakes in an very elegant atmosphere and also has a small terrace going out onto the street where one can watch the world go by.
- Rooms - The large bedrooms are individually furnished to a very tasteful and comfortable standard, in traditional style. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
