Cleaning your Neff Double Oven
CeramiClean® Liners
These liners will oxidise grease particles where they are fitted. Your oven will
require a minimal amount of effort to maintain it's cleanliness. Another great
thing about them
is
that
these
liners
never
need
replacing.
AquaCleanse®
This is a brilliant aid to cleaning your oven but it is not a self cleaning
system
All you have to do is put 3/4 pint of water and some washing
up liquid in the base of your oven. Choose the Q symbol on your oven's
control panel which will activate the bottom element to heat the water
to 60‰C. This makes the air within the cavity humid and
softens greasy deposits. When the water cools, you can wipe out the oven
with a
sponge
or
cloth.
Naturally this should only be used as a guide as different types of microwaves
can take different times due to variations in design and function, food should
be piping hot when it is heated in a microwave
Pyrolytic cleaning
Pyrolytic cleaning is a self cleaning system.
The oven superheats a very high temperature which burns off any
deposits from cooking food. You are left with a perfectly clean
oven and all that remains is a fine ash that is easily removed by a damp cloth.
For safety, the oven door locks automatically until the oven has cooled
to
an acceptable level.
Where can I fit my oven
?
Most kitchen companies make standard carcasses to fit ovens under the worktop
although the best place for an oven is definitely in a tall housing putting the
appliances at eye level
Will the oven be noisy
?
Well, actually yes. Any appliance with a fan will make a certain amount of noise,
although ovens are not tested for sound levels be aware they will not be silent
but at the same time do
not
make
anywhere near the
same
amount of noise that say a cooker hood will.
