Extra Charges

We have a policy of not hiding any charges, if there is any additional charge to be added to your order you will be notified, and we will not process payment until you confirm acceptance of these charges.

Local Taxes and Import Duty

We Sell It shall in no way be liable for any Import Duty, Local Taxes, Customs Clearance, etc. that might be charged for importing goods from the UK to your country. It is up to you, the customer to find out what rate of duty is applicable in your country/state. In some cases, your postal service will not release your goods until the duty has been paid.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations / Returns

Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a ''cooling off period'' which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site.

The customer has the right to inspect their goods and must make sure they remain undamaged and unused. In the case of electrical appliances there is no way we can accept returns of unwanted goods if the item has been installed or used. All goods must be returned with all packaging intact.

We Sell It reserves the right to recover costs of collecting should any be incurred. The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the goods whether in their possession or in transit back to We Sell It.

Return Charges

Please note that all returns for any reason other than faulty/damaged goods will be subject to a charge of the cost of returning the goods, this charge varies depending on the product ordered but can be up to 25% of the cost of the goods in the case of electrical appliances, cost of return can vary depending on how the goods are returned to us.

Where the customer exercises their right to cancel we will refund money owed within 30 days of cancellation.

Damaged Goods

All deliveries should be inspected on arrival. If there are any signs of damage do not accept delivery and inform us immediately. All damages must be reported to us within 5 days of delivery. Your statutory rights are not affected by this clause.

Faulty Goods

Claims regarding faulty goods will be subject to the terms of the manufacturer's warranty but this does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that once an electrical appliance is installed manufacturers would need to send a service engineer to inspect any appliance to ascertain whether or not any fault was due to a product defect or a bad installation.

Remember that you should use a qualified fitter for certain appliances (i.e. gas appliances should only be fitted by someone with the appropriate CORGI certification).
